This blog has been years in the making! Born out of a need to share my drink creations Thyme For A Drink is the second food blog I have created. The first being The Schmidty Wife which shares real fresh food for real fun families.
I felt a part of what I loved to create missing from my first blog, so I started Thyme For A Drink!
Thyme For A Drink is a place to share all of my favorite mocktail and cocktail recipes. These drinks are often inspired by nature and the plants around us. With a passion for gardening and foraging you will find a whole section of dedicated drinks for people who share that enthusiasm.
Now don't get me wrong, I love the classics too and you will find a lot of twists on the classics as well! And did I mention infusions? I love making infusions!
I believe making yourself a good beverage is a form of self care, letting the flavors surround you like a cozy blanket. Taking a few minutes to make something for you is the ultimate thing you can do.
I image you the reader and myself often enjoying our drinks together out on my back deck surrounded by the woods behind my house and listen to the birds. I hope to bring everyone a little bit of peace with the beverage you choose!

I have a passion for all things foods, drinks, and flavor!
Born in Minnesota and a transplant to New Hampshire I love spending time with my husband and our two sons. We enjoy many outdoor activities together such as camping, hiking, and foraging. In my spare time when I am not in the kitchen you will find me going out for a run or reading a good historical fiction novel.
