Equipment Needed
- Wine Glass - Or a large stemless glass
- Jigger - Or small measuring cup
- Bar Spoon - or long-handled spoon
- Knife - for slicing grapefruit
- Ice
Ingredients
- Fresh Grapefruit - For garnish, you will want to add a slice to your glass. So you will want at least one grapefruit for slices of grapefruit.
- Elderflower Liqueur - One of the more popular brands of elderflower liqueur is St-Germain although there are also other brands to choose from. This is always a nice liqueur to have in your home bar, it always makes for a nice floral cocktail.
- Fresh Grapefruit Juice - Pink or Ruby Red Grapefruit works best for squeezing fresh grapefruit juice. You can use bottled grapefruit juice, if you are buying the juice I recommend a cold fresh pressed juice (ruby red grapefruit juice works best).
- Prosecco - For best results ensure the prosecco is chilled.

Instructions
Fill a wine glass with ice, this can be a stemless glass. Pour 2 ounces of fresh grapefruit juice and 1 ounce of elderflower liqueur over the ice.
Pour 3 to 4 ounces of Prosecco slowly into the glass. Tuck the slice of grapefruit into the top of the glass for a gorgeous finishing touch.
Just enough to slightly mix the juice and liqueur—don’t overdo it or you’ll lose the fizz! Serve immediately and enjoy.
