Fresh Orange Strawberry Infused Water
Staying hydrated and getting the correct amount of water into your body is essential for feeling your best, but for me plain water can sometimes feel a little boring and hard to drink constantly. That’s where infused water comes in! This Orange Strawberry Infused Water is a fresh, naturally sweet, and citrusy way to keep your water intake exciting.
After the popularity of my Christmas Infused Water (which has cinnamon sticks, oranges, apples, and cranberries) I wanted a spa water with other fresh fruit that could be made year round, and I thought the combination of oranges and strawberries were just perfect! Whether you need a this to get you through the hot summer months or a burst of citrus to get you through the end of winter this is the perfect way to stay hydrated!

Equipment Needed
- Large pitcher – A glass fruit infuser pitcher is ideal, as it keeps the fruit separate for easy refilling.
- Cutting board & sharp knife – For slicing the oranges and strawberries.
- Measuring cups – To ensure the perfect water-to-fruit ratio.

Ingredients
- Water – Cold, filtered water works best.
- Navel Oranges – Washed and sliced into rounds. Navel oranges work well, but you can also try Cara Cara oranges for a slightly sweeter taste or blood oranges for a beautiful red hue.
- Fresh Strawberries – Hulled and halved. The fresher, the better!

Instructions
Wash the oranges and strawberries thoroughly.
Slice the oranges into thin rounds. Hull the strawberries (remove the green tops) and cut them in half.
Add the orange slices and halved strawberries to a large pitcher.
Pour 6 cups of cold water over the fruit.
Allow the water to sit for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld. For the best taste, refrigerate for about 2 hours before serving.
Avoid infusing for more than 12 hours, as the fruit can start to break down and get mushy.
