Bourbon Orange Pomegranate Cocktail Bliss: A Festive Holiday Cocktail
The holiday season is upon us, and what better way to celebrate than with a drink that combines the rich warmth of bourbon with the vibrant burst of pomegranate and orange? Create a perfect concoction for your festive gatherings - the Bourbon Pomegranate Bliss Cocktail.
As the temperatures drop, the comforting notes of bourbon come to the forefront, making it an ideal choice for cold holiday evenings. The addition of pomegranate and fresh squeezed orange juice not only elevates the flavors but also adds a visual flair, making this cocktail a feast for the senses.
One of the things that I love about this drink is that it is a sneaky fruity drink. Like I often think of fruity drinks as a no-go during the late fall and winter months due to the fact that there just isn't as much fresh fruit...but this drinks is packed with seasonal fruits! Making it perfect for the bourbon/whiskey lover as well as the fruity drink lover!

Tips, Tricks and Questions
Can I substitute the honey simple syrup with regular simple syrup?
Absolutely, feel free to adjust the sweetness to your liking. Regular simple syrup works well too.
Can I use bottled orange juice instead of fresh squeezed?
While fresh squeezed is recommended for optimal flavor, you can use bottled orange juice in a pinch.
Can I make this into a large batch pitcher drink to serve at a party?
Yes! Make a Bourbon Pomegranate Punch! To serve 8 people combine 2 cups pomegranate juice, 2 cups bourbon, 1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice, and 1 cup honey simple syrup. Serve over ice.
Variations:
- Try a rye whiskey instead of a bourbon.
- Use a different flavored simple syrup for a different flavor profile. A ginger simple syrup or cinnamon simple syrup would be good here.

- ½ cup water
Instructions
- Begin by combining equal parts honey and water in your saucepan.
