Pumpkin Spice Mocktail Non-Alcoholic Margarita
It's that time of year as the weather cools down, the leaves turn colors, and everything is Pumpkin Spice flavored, it is officially pumpkin spice season. Can you blame anyone, the beautiful blend of warm spice from Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Allspice, and Cloves mixed with fresh pumpkin leaves anything it touches better, or at least pretty much anything but most of all this Pumpkin Spice Mocktail.
I remember back in the day when I was pregnant missing all of the fall flavored drinks for the season and what a disappointment it was to miss the fall. While sure other seasons have great tasting flavors too it was the the cinnamon sugar rimmed pumpkin and apple drinks I felt like I missed out on the most. So although my days of being pregnant are definitely over I wanted to make this mocktail in my own honor to my past pregnant self.
While this one is in my own pregnant honor this is a great drink for all ages. Since it’s alcohol-free, everyone at your gathering can enjoy this drink, from kids to adults. Perfect for after a day of picking apples, around a fall bonfire, a pumpkin carving party, halloween party, or even thanksgiving dinner!
The secret to making a really good mocktail in my opinion is making sure it isn't too sweet. Sure there is definitely a place for sweet drinks don't get me wrong but if you are a looking for a true mocktail to replace a cocktail you most likely want that little kick or zing that the alcohol usually provides. That is where the apple cider vinegar comes in. Yes apple cider vinegar is going into this drink and stick with me because I promise it will be good. ACV gives the drink just enough zing to feel like you are drinking a true cocktail and not just flavored soda water that bit of acid makes such a big difference.

- Glasses: You can use classic margarita glasses or any festive fall-themed glasses. I will leave the link to the glass in the photos below, they are so cute!
- Small plate: You’ll need this for the cinnamon sugar rim.
- Citrus juicer Affiliate Link: Freshly squeezed orange and lime juice make all the difference.
- Measuring jigger or Measuring Spoons: To measure out the amounts properly.

Ingredients
- Pumpkin Spice Simple Syrup - You can find pumpkin spice simple syrup at some stores during the fall season but I recommend making your own. You will need pumpkin pie spice blend, brown sugar, and pumpkin purée, I have this recipe for Pumpkin Spice Simple Syrup that I think you will love!
- Orange Juice - Freshly squeezed is best. Orange juice is added to round out the drink from what an orange liqueur like triple sec or grand marnier would flavor in a margarita. A hack I learned for juicing oranges is use a handheld citrus juicer Affiliate Link like you would for limes or lemon but just cut your orange into quarters instead of halves and they quarters will fit into the juicer and making juicing easier!
- Lime Juice - Again, fresh lime juice is key but even more important than the orange juice. Bottled lime juice is usually sour and will throw off the taste or your drink.
- Apple Cider Vinegar - Yes some people are going to be thrown off by this ingredient, if it throws you off too much just skip it. You could also use a tequila alternative instead of the vinegar like Ritual Tequila Alternative.
- Cinnamon Sugar - For rimming the glass. I prefer using a 2 to 1 ratio when making cinnamon sugar, that being 2 parts sugar to 1 part ground cinnamon. So for making just a little bit for a single rim you can use 2 teaspoons sugar and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. I usually make a bigger bunch because it keeps well in an air tight container so I can use it for other things.
- Garnishes: Possible garnishes are an orange slice, lime slice, and cinnamon stick.
Instructions
Prepare the Rim
Start by creating a cinnamon sugar rim for your glass. Rub the edge of the glass with an orange or lime wedge to coat it with juice. Then, dip the rim into a plate of cinnamon sugar, making sure it sticks to the entire edge. This adds a fun, flavorful touch to each sip. Once the glass is rimmed, carefully fill it with ice and set it aside.
Shake the Mocktail
Grab your cocktail shaker and fill it with ice. Next, add the pumpkin spice simple syrup, orange juice, lime juice, and apple cider vinegar. Seal the shaker tightly and shake vigorously for 10 to 20 seconds. You want the ingredients to mix well and chill to perfection.
Garnish
Gently pour the chilled mocktail into your prepared glass. Add a finishing touch by garnishing with a fresh orange slice, lime slice, and a cinnamon stick. The cinnamon stick not only looks beautiful but also adds a subtle hint of spice as you sip.
Enjoy!
Now it’s time to sit back, relax, and enjoy your Pumpkin Spice Mocktail Margarita. Whether you're lounging by a fire or hosting a fall get-together, this drink is sure to please.

I like to make my cinnamon sugar rim with a 2:1 ratio, so 2 parts sugar to 1 part cinnamon. I tend to use 2 tablespoons sugar to 1 tablespoon cinnamon so I can save the cinnamon sugar for other drinks or uses.
